Terms and Conditions of

SÓLGARÐUR APARTMENTS, ID# 670906-0350

 

The leaseholder shall inform himself of the terms and Conditions of SÓLGARÐUR APARTMENTS. By staying in the apartment he fully agrees to the following terms and conditions.

 

1. PAYMENT. Booking is only confirmed with a valid credit card number. 7 days before arrival the apartment charges are made to the creditcard provided when booking unless otherwise instructed. If for some reason the credit card is not accepted guests will be notified.

2. BEAHAVIOUR AND ACCOMMODATION

   1. Apartments shall be emptied no later than 12:00 on the day of departure and are available at 15:00 on the day of arrival. The apartments are self check in so guests can arrive at their convenience. Key code is provided via email through the booking engine used for booking.

   2. All tableware must be washed and in its place upon departure. Guest must use a cutting board and a hot plate under hot pots to protect the tabletops.

   3. Apartments are heated with geothermal water that runs through the heating system and radiators in each apartment. The radiators shall not be used for drying of clothes or any other garments except for the towel radiator in the bathrooms.

   4. The apartment as well as common areas of the building and its immediate surroundings must be treated well and with respect. The aparments shall be left in good condition and guests must make sure that everything is in its place upon departure.

   5. The leaseholder is responsible for the contents and treatment of the apartment and is liable for any damages caused by him or other members of his party to the apartment during the rental period. Compensation for damages caused by the leaseholder or other guests of his in the building will be charged to the leaseholders credit card without exceptions. The leaseholder shall immediatly report any faults to the accommodation upon arrival. The leaseholder shall also report anything that breaks down or gets damaged during his stay.

   6. The number of guests stated for each apartment must be respected unconditionally and can not exceed maximum number of guests allowance in each apartment.

3. PETS: Pets are not allowed in the apartments.

4. SMOKING: Smoking is strictly forbidden in the building and directly outside doors and windows for the smoke can get in through open windows.

5. KEYS: The leaseholder is responsible for the keys after they have been retrieved from the keybox and will be charged for them if they get lost or not returned to the keybox upon departure.

6. QUIETNESS: The apartment building shall be quiet between 23:00 in the evening and 07:00 in the morning. Full consideration must be paid to other guests/occupants in the building. Any violations can cause expulsion from the building without a refund.

7. INTERNET: Guests have access to a free wireless Internet connection during their stay at their own risk. SÓLGARÐUR APARTMENTS is not responsible for damages caused by using it nor if the connection does not work or if  guest’s computers are unable to connect. If the WiFi is not working poperly please notify the propriator straight away.

8. PRICES, TAXES AND FEES: Taxes and fees are included in the price excuding prices for extra beds and other extra services when appliccable. All prices include VAT.

 

SÓLGARÐUR APARTMENTS reserves the right to charge expenses to the leaseholders credit card if these conditions are not met. Any violation of these terms and conditions can be grounds for termination of contract and may incur added expenses to the leaseholder due to damages or cost caused by repairs, cleaning or any other reason. The leaseholder is responsible for familiarising himself of these conditions.
